Week #6 Done, What's coming up for Week #7

Week # 6 Highlights:

Wednesday, September 23rd at Shollenberger Park, Petaluma: 
-61 MCHS XC Athletes (41 Boys + 20 Girls) competing vs. Santa Rosa, Newman, Rancho and Casa Grande teams.    ...It was hot, but several MCHS athletes posting fast times!    (highlights will be done on another post)

Saturday, September 26th Stanford Invitational!    ...MCHS Boys 1st, Girls 2nd!   ...Best overall team placing in 7 years for our program, GREAT JOB PUMAS!

...What to expect for week #7?    ...No races scheduled, hopefully weather will be mild and allow for us to get some good training in!

Announcing new 20 minute clinics every Monday from 2:40-3:00 (before normal practice begins); this Monday, we're covering the "Basic Sports Nutrition".   Future topics include, "The Science and Physiology behind our Training" and "10 steps to improve your Mental Toughness", others TBD...
