REMINDER FOR 2016 TAHOE RUNNING CAMP PLANNING MEETING!   

MONDAY, JULY 18TH 6PM - 7:15PM at Greg's House: 4525 Ranchette Road, SR 95409
-Everyone is expected to attend (unless you've already made other arrangements with Greg
-Please get there on-time so we can wrap-up everything in ~1hour
-There will be limited space to park on our street, so better to get there early!

-Meet the Coaches, Meet Tanya, our Cook!

-Going over camp itinerary, driving plans and overall logistics
-Handing out Camp T-shirts!

ANOTHER REMINDER!    ...BRING YOUR PARENTS, FRIENDS AND SIBLINGS; MCHS XC ANNADEL TRAIL WORK DAY #2, WE HAVE 11 PEOPLE SIGNED-UP AND NEED A TOTAL OF 20, 9AM-12:30PM (see previous post for details) Minors have to have this release of liability form from the Sonoma County Trails Council completed LINK

Important Dates coming up; Tahoe Camp Planning Meeting; Annadel Work Day, Getting ready for Tahoe Running Camp!

3 VERY IMPORTANT DATES COMING UP NEXT WEEK!

Next Monday, July 18th: MANDATORY TAHOE RUNNING CAMP PLANNING MEETING
-If you're going to camp, YOU MUST ATTEND (or your parent in your place)
-Where:  Greg's House, 4525 Ranchette Road, SR 95409 6PM - 7:15 PM ...If you get there late, there will be no room on our road, so best to park at the Rincon Valley Christian School (corner of Badger and Brush Creek) in the north side of the parking lot and walk through the neighbor's gate; look for the gold balloons)
-What we'll be covering: Meet the Camp Counselors, our Camp Cook, Tanya Stevens, review what we need for additional community camp supplies (i.e 3 propane tanks, 4-5 EZ-UP canopies, making sure we have enough tents for campers, etc...) passing out Camp T-shirts, collecting "something interesting about you" for camp trivia, going over driving plans, covering any specific questions, unique medical conditions/needs and special dietary needs, etc...  

Next Tuesday, July 19th: MCHS XC TEAM ANNADEL TRAIL REPAIR WORKDAY!  
...Help us complete the first section of the Canyon-Spring Creek loop trail repairs!   -We have 11 signed up BUT need 9 more to complete our 20 person work crew!    Crew for July 19th: Greg F, Salvador A, Elias V, Juan V, Allie A, Talia L, Austin R, Karen B, Owen P, Miranda H, Ben L

Details: Meet us at 9am at the Oak Knolls picnic area at Spring Lake Regional Park (where the horse trailers park, near the gate to Annadel), enter from Newanga Ave. Look for the white SCTC tool trailer. We will provide parking passes, tools and Clif bars with snacks and beverages afterwards, should be done by 12:30 or 1:00PM.    -Bring gloves, a hat and water that you can take with you while working, and wear long pants, boots or sturdy shoes and sunscreen.    No experience necessary!   We will have tools and trained crew leaders with tasks for all strengths and sizes of volunteers,   This workday limited to the first 20 to sign up! (minors need Sonoma County Trails Council release of liability forms signed by parents!)  LINK TO MINOR RELEASE FORM     ...There will be more work days TBD; I committed our team to 4 workdays/year!

Next Friday, July 22nd - Wednesday, July 27th:  TAHOE RUNNING CAMP!!!    We'll meet in the MCHS parking lot, 7/22/16 at 8:45 AM and start packing right away; we'll leave in a few waves, with the last wave leaving no later than 10 AM, then we'll, spend 5 nights at Zephyr Cove Campground, return MCHS 7/27/16 ~2-3PM.
